In the first assignment for the course students were asked to analyze their education, whether it was an architectural related undergraduate program or not. My method of mapping was grouping the courses I did for my Bachelors of Architectural Studies into three skills of creative, technical, and practical. From there I mapped out what I learnt from those courses and how the skill groups overlapped as the years progressed in my education. In order to move forward in my map I also had to indicate where the skill groups were developed from and reflected on my background. This assignment proved to myself that I had indeed been educated in the sense I picked up different perspectives as well as technical skills from courses I did for my undergraduate degree which I use in my daily life and professional career today.
