The Narrative Arc, part 1 of project “I Swear I’ve Been Educated”, maps major reflective life moments, analyzing where interest for architectural design began: from parental influences and personal hobbies to education path and post career choices to this day. From left to right the timeline follows a chronological path of my journey thus far, wavering up and down depending on the interferences or synchronic moments. Educational related memories that had great emphasis in the timeline were linked and carried on from one chapter to the next. The reasoning for the emphasis was not necessarily because of the personal interest in the material that was taught, but also could have been due to the “traumatic” stress (emotional interferences) that manifested during that moment in school. As the main memories were being mapped, a deep dive through my education copy work archive allowed for forgotten memories to mapped simultaneously. These memories were dropped into the gray area representing moments that did not assist or were not emphasized in the educational progression.
